Monarch Butterflies will add charm to any garden or backyard!
These butterflies are cut from steel about as thick as a nickel. The sizes of these beautiful monarchs are 10, 15, 24, 32 or 36" wide before they are bent into flying form. The smallest size becomes 9" wide in the flying position. Each naturally rusted butterfly is pre-soaked to begin the patina before it ships. Color choices are powder coated in durable outdoor-safe finishes.
The butterfly is ready to hang on a hook, nail or screw, or you can string them with wire for a mobile display! See the final photo for size comparison of the Large size to our regular size monarchs.
Please note that the naturally rusted option will have irregular colors, and with time outdoors the entire item will turn a golden rusty brown. Rusted steel can stain fabrics and leave residue on your hands. Please be aware that the item may have sharp edges. Gardening gloves are recommended. The naturally rusted item is not intended as an indoor product.

Care instructions
Rusted Items:
No special care is needed! Rinse with water if dirty. Rusted items are safe in all weather. No need to bring them in for the winter.
Powder Coated Items:
Powder Coat is a very durable finish. Safe in all weather. If needed it can be washed with soap and water. Do not use an abrasive pad.
Custom Automotive Paint:
Treat this finish just like your car. After 6 months of drying time it can even be polished or waxed. Safe outdoors in any weather. Will not fade or peel like spray paint. If needed our painted signs can be washed with soap and water using a soft cloth. Do not use an abrasive pad.
Gift wrapping and packaging
We do not offer gift wrap due to the size of our items. Gift wrap will not survive the shipping process in an attractive manner.

The butterfly is beautiful. Well made. Substantial. Just as described. We painted ours to stand out on our ancient olive tree. The tree represents my father and the butterfly represents my mother. This is a way for me to honor and celebrate them as they’ve passed. Thank you this beautiful butterfly.
